Description
Following Leo Fender’s departure from his namesake company, he adhered to a 10-year non-compete clause. Once this period ended, he redirected his innovative talents towards creating amplifiers, guitars, and basses under the Music Man banner. This particular amplifier isn’t just any Music Man model; it’s a coveted early “first series” version, recognizable by its distinctive black-on-silver badge (a feature that was inverted in later models).
The amplifier is equipped with two channels, one of which includes tremolo and spring reverb effects. It also has additional switches that offer further sound customisation, capable of delivering up to 65 watts RMS through two original 10-inch alnico-magnet Music Man speakers. The cabinet’s construction from solid joined pine adds to the amp’s robustness and quality. Notably, it’s the early models produced between 1974 and 1979 that possess all these exceptional features.
Original trem/verb footswitch and vinyl cover. 240v
