To commemorate 50 years of producing high-quality instruments, Taylor has unveiled its50th Anniversary 217e-SB Plus Limited Edition Grand Pacific, in Tobacco Sunburst. Taylor’s rich heritage and dedication to innovation are embodied in this guitar, with its iconic Grand Pacific body shape, use of premium materials, and Taylor’s cutting-edge electronics to deliver an instrument that truly represents Taylor as a brand.

The 217e-SB Plus boasts a torrefied Sitka spruce top, and layered Indian rosewood back and sides, all of which are finished in a beautiful gloss. With a burst coloring, the finish of this guitar stands as little in the way as possible of the natural beauty of both Sitka spruce and Indian rosewood, allowing the wood grain on the guitar’s body to be put on full display. The mahogany neck features a Crelicam Ebony fingerboard with 20 frets and a nut measuring at 1.6875″.

Taylor’s ES2 electronics allow for high-fidelity, natural amplification of this guitar, capturing its rich acoustic tone with clarity and definition. This advanced pickup system designed by Taylor, offers a simple control scheme of a master volume, a bass knob and a treble knob.
