The strong rectangular wooden shell has a rugged black exterior covering, plush padded interior, strong latches, and sturdy comfortable handle. A no-nonsense, well designed case, except that there is no accessory compartment. It even works reasonably well with solid body electric mandolins. Holds instruments up to 10″ wide and 26″ long.
