One of Earthquaker Devices’ signature pedals, the Rainbow Machine is an analog pitch shifter capable of delightful havoc. It is best played to understand rather than explain, but for those that haven’t played one, it tracks almost like a chorus with pre delay, and can produce wildly expressive octave up modulations through the selectable Magic control.
