Electro-Harmonix SUPER SPACE DRUM Analog Drum Synth Pedal

Description

A faithful recreation of a classic 1979 unit, theSuper Space DrumfromElectro-Harmonixis an analog drum synth in a pedal housing. It creates a signal which you can trigger via the on-board push button or an external non-MIDI drum pad (available separately). Furthermore, you can manipulate that signal using a dedicated modulation section.

Whereas the Electro-Harmonix Crash Pada similar synthesis unitreaches higher registers, the Super Space Drum gets tones as low as 20 Hz; as such, you can achieve kick drum and tom sounds from this unit. Frequency controls allow you to select how deep the resulting sound will be, while a Time knob controls how long it the note will sustain. With these parameters, you can create sounds from the natural to the alien with the twist of your fingers.

Auxiliary Input

The Super Space Drum features an auxiliary input which allows you to gate external instruments through the pedal’s triggereither externally or through the push button; you can even sound this unit through (non-MIDI) sequencers and DAWs
