Mr Black’s Shepard’s End is not your traditional flanger – and its secondary title lets you in on its function more than you may realize. An “Infinite Flanger”, as it’s called, delivers on its namesake. On either side of the “Wave” dial, you will find ascending and descending waveshapes. Rolling the dial toward either of these ends will result in a flanging waveform that either repeats upwards or downwards continually without your traditional upwards and downwards flanging motion.
